TYAS Celebrates Community Spirit Through Sports!
TYAS held its first-ever fall semester Sports Day, marking a significant change from its traditional spring timing. The event brought together students, parents, and staff in a celebration of athletic spirit, featuring various activities including 100m races, dodgeball matches, and a tug-of-war finale. The Red House emerged as champions, but the event's true success lay in strengthening community bonds and fostering teamwork across all participants. -
Spooktacular Halloween Celebration at TYAS: A Day Filled with Costumes, Creativity, and Community
TYAS celebrated Halloween on November 7th with a school-wide costume parade featuring students from Grade 1-12, teachers, and parents. The event included a costume competition, interactive trick-or-treating activities organized by high/middle school students, and a haunted house prepared by the high school student council. Despite being delayed by a typhoon, the celebration successfully brought the TYAS community together for a memorable and engaging experience that combined entertainment with community building. -
International Friendship in Action: TYAS Hosts Keishin High School for Cultural Immersion
Taoyuan American School (TYAS) hosted a vibrant cultural exchange event with Japan's Keishin High School, featuring welcome speeches, cultural performances, and interactive classroom activities. Students from both schools participated in various subjects and concluded the day with a friendly dodgeball game, creating lasting memories and strengthening international friendships while promoting cross-cultural understanding.
