Spooktacular Halloween Celebration at TYAS: A Day Filled with Costumes, Creativity, and Community

On November 7th, our campus was transformed with amazing costumes representing characters from all corners of the universe! Due to a recent typhoon delay, our annual TYAS Halloween event took place a little later than usual, but the excitement was well worth the wait. Students from elementary to high school, along with many parents, gathered in their most creative costumes to celebrate Halloween together.
The day kicked off with a thrilling costume parade, showcasing the unique creativity of each grade, starting from Grade 12 down to Grade 1. Both teachers and parents joined in with impressive costumes and spooky makeup, adding even more festive spirit to the event. Following the parade, students and faculty members cast their votes for the class with the best costumes, adding a touch of friendly competition.
One of the highlights of the event was the trick-or-treating experience. This was more than the traditional door-to-door routine—our high/middle school students designed interactive games in classrooms across the campus, inviting elementary students to complete fun challenges and earn sweet rewards. These shared moments not only brought joy but also strengthened the bonds within our TYAS community.
Adding to the thrill, the high school student council (HS STUCO) prepared a haunted house that tested students’ courage. It was a spine-chilling experience, and students emerged with tales of bravery (and maybe a few screams!).
At TYAS, we cherish these moments that bring our community closer. Our goal is to create unforgettable memories and enriching experiences for our students in a supportive and nurturing environment. Halloween was a perfect example of how we blend fun, learning, and connection, leaving students with memories of a fun and exciting Halloween event.
